Kotei Yakiniku – I believe there isn’t many unlimited yakiniku Nagoya reviews out there. So, I wanted to share with you our experience at Kotei yakiniku, and whether you should try it out or not. Let’s go!

We were staying at Hotel Forza Nagoya Sakae during this time, so if you want a full review of the place, check this out.
If you’re here for the first time, I’d like to invite you to follow me on my socials –Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok so you’re updated on our recent food, hotel, and travel reviews!
Unlimited yakiniku Nagoya menu price

I’m gonna make this unlimited yakiniku Nagoya review quick. Because while I’m tempted to skip on this, I also want to help fellow travelers and food trippers like you to know whether Kotei Nagoya yanikiniku is worth it or not.
So, let’s try to keep this short and simple.
Unlimited meat
Once you check the Kotei Yakiniku menu, you’ll find out there’s so much to eat within that 120 minute period. They have beef, pork, and chicken, but apart from that, there are some seafood like shrimp, scallop, and squid on the menu.

The largest selection of meat there is is the beef, of course, since that’s the star when it comes to yakiniku, isn’t it?
I’ll try my best to understand the menu for you.
On the list, there’s karubi, rosu, beef tongue, liver, short ribs, offal, etc. I like that they have so much to offer for the price of 3,500 JPY (1,297.88 PHP or 22.31 USD).
So, if you got tired of eating your favorite meat part, you can change into a different meat. Nonetheless, there are other side dishes you can order as well to cleanse your palate.
Side dishes

On the 2nd page of the Kotei Yakiniku price menu, you’ll find lots of different side dishes to complement your meat. From kimchi, to salads, buttered corn, and soup – you can order them all.
I just didn’t like their salad because it seemed to me all of them have the same taste, but just different vegetables. Oh, but you can also order veggies for grilling if you want a healthier choice.
Unlimited drinks for a price
An unlimited soda drink is great for pairing with unlimited yakiniku. And here at Kotei Yakiniku, you just have to add 300 JPY (111.23 PHP or 1.91 USD) and you can already get unlimited drinks.
Add 1,500 JPY (556.15 PHP or 9.56 USD) if you want to have unlimited alcoholic drinks.
Of course, we’re Asians, so we don’t want to get full by drinking a lot when dining at a buffet restaurant.
Free dessert

After paying for our bill, the staff arrived with a small plate and in it, there were 3 something wrapped in plastic. And it was actually frozen strawberry stuffed with condensed milk – which was actually a nice sweet to end the filling meal.
Hanger for jackets

I like that many restaurants in Japan offer hangers so you can hang your coat or bubble jacket – especially since you don’t want to leave your jacket on the floor. And it helps to prevent your coats from absorbing so much of the food smell.
Kotei Yakiniku reviews conclusion
If you’re looking for the best yakiniku in Nagoya, I don’t think Kotei Yakiniku would be that one. But all I can say is that it’s worth your money, and you can eat up to 120 minutes, so it isn’t so bad.

Other yakiniku restaurants to try
Below are some of the yakinikus we tried in the Philippines which are also found in Nagoya. And they might be a little bit different from the ones in Japan, but at least you’ll have an idea about what to expect.
Yakiniku Like
Not unlimited, but Yakiniku Like is a place to dine if you want quality meat at an affordable price. We haven’t tried this one in Japan yet, but I think it’s value for money, because they got great meat – tender and juicy, and you can dine there especially if you’re a solo traveler.

And since we have a kid, we wanted a table for family, but we couldn’t find a Yakiniku Like branch that offers a larger table. So, maybe next time we could try it if our child is a bit older.

Yakiniku King

I can’t count how many times we already dined at Yakiniku King Philippines.
This is one of the unlimited yakiniku you should try if you want many variant of food served. Unlike Kotei, Yakiniku King has more food types – like hot stone rice or bibimbap, tempura, noodle soup, and so much more.
