Yakiniku King PH – When we saw that Yakiniku King is opening in SM Mall of Asia, we were excited to try it out, because we have heard about it from watching a vlogger in Japan. And we wanted to check it out as soon as it opened, so, here’s my Yakiniku King review!
If you’re here for the first time, I’d like to invite you to follow me on my socials – Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok so you’re updated on our recent food, hotel, and travel reviews!
Originated from Yakiniku King Japan
Why should you try Yakiniku King?
It’s simple. It has the quality that you’re looking for in an unlimited yakiniku.

Why?
Having originated from Japan, Yakiniku King offers great quality meat and other dishes – according to the staff, everything they serve comes from Japan, so you can be sure that you’re getting what you paid for.
Where is Yakiniku King in Japan?

You’ll find Yakiniku King Japan branches in Tokyo, Osaka, Chiba, Shizuoka, Kanagawa, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and Yamaguchi.
Yakiniku King menu price
There are 3 grill sets to choose from at the Yakiniku King PH menu. Of course, each set comes with unlimited rice, soup, salads, sodas, and dessert. A friendly reminder that you have 2 hours to your unlimited sets no matter which one you choose.

The first 90 minutes, you’re allowed to order whatever you want. After the 90 minutes is over, the tablet on your table will freeze, and you won’t be able to add more. So make sure to take note of the time you start, so you know when it will be your last order.

A staff came up to us when it was nearing the end of our order time. Nonetheless, it will still be helpful that you take note of the time, so you have no regrets! The last 30 minutes, you can finish everything that you ordered.

Unlimited wagyu beef
It was the first day of their soft opening, and there weren’t that much long line. When we got there, there were quite a few people in front asking about the Yakiniku King MOA menu and whatnot. We immediately got our names listed, and without waiting long, the staff told us that our table was all set.

We selected the Royal Grill set, so each person was worth 1,599 Php (28.09 USD). This set includes great tasting wagyu beef, tongue, and shabu shabu beef. Seafood, chicken, and takoyaki – and many more are also included in the set!

But what sets the Royal grill set from King and Select grill sets is that it has the best meat Yakiniku King menu has to offer (well, it’s actually quite obvious, judging on the price you’re paying for).

So here are the Yakiniku King photos I took – I won’t stop you from drooling, but I do wish you enjoy every part of this post!

Yakiniku King sauces

On the side of your table, the cutleries, plates, and yakiniku sauces are there, along with the tablet you’re going to use for ordering. And while there are 2 main sauces on your table – sweet soy sauce and King special sauce, do take note that you can still find some additional sauces on the tablet.
Soda
Of course, your Japanese grill meat buffet can’t be complete without something refreshing to cleanse your palate. Here comes unlimited sodas to the rescue! You can also request for water from the servers if you don’t like to drink soda.
Dessert
If the yakiniku meat buffet isn’t enough to make you full, I’m sure the list of sweets on the tablet menu will finish your still hungry stomach. Check out the sweets that we tried on the menu.
Ice cream

We tried the chocolate soft serve ice cream, and while I thought that a chocolate flavored ice cream would arrive, what came was a vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle. Not that bad, it’s just that it wasn’t to our liking.
Milo toast

Another thing we ordered was the Milo toast, because its photo looked so yummy. However, reality hit us when it finally arrived. It was an “expectation vs reality” kind of experience!
Fresh fruit platter
Well, you can never go wrong with a fresh fruit platter, where you can get a slice of watermelon, melon, and orange. Order 2 sets and you’ll get 2 of each fruit. Make sure to order only what you can finish!

Hubby was utterly disappointed they didn’t have cakes on the dessert, unlike in Yakiniku King Japan. He remembered seeing the vlogger sharing how she loves the cakes on the Japan branches, and was hoping that we could have it here too.
Maybe they’ll upgrade their menu next time, so that we too can try it here in the Philippines.

Best yakiniku in MOA?
Can I say that Yakiniku King is the best yakiniku buffet in MOA? That’s a YES! Because there aren’t many yakiniku restaurant in MOA with these kinds of meat – as far as I know. Eating there reminded us of the times when we’re eating at an unlimited yakiniku in Japan.

But if you’re on a budget and want to experience Japan quality kind of yakiniku (a la carte, that is), then, I suggest you try Yakiniku Like! Instead. It has great quality meat and you can get sets – I assure you, you won’t be disappointed!
