Noka no Ippuku – We can’t leave Japan without eating at an unlimited yakiniku – and Noka No Ippuku was our chosen store for our Fukuoka food trip. And I believe you should add this to your yakiniku restaurant list because it serves quality meat at a reasonable price!

Noka no Ippuku location

Looking for a great place to eat in Kawabata Shopping Arcade is very easy.
Just like any other shopping streets, Kawabata is also loaded with many restaurants to eat! But when we were searching, Noka no Ippuku was the one that caught our attention.
Apart from the many choices of good food, it also is not that pricey. So, we went for it!
Noka no Ippuku address: 6-140 Kamikawabatamachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka, 812-0026, Japan
Noka no Ippuku Fukuoka menu
Although we didn’t have Noka no Ippuku reservation, we entered the place and dined there. It was already 7 PM when we got there, and although it was a Wednesday, the place had quite a few customers.

Thankfully, there was an empty table for us, so the staff sat us there and immediately gave out the Noka No Ippuku menu.

There are 2 types of course you can choose from: Gold and Silver. Your eating time for gold is 120 minutes, and 90 minutes for silver. The last 20 minutes is for finishing your food and you can’t order anymore. So manage your expectations.
All you can eat meat

The prices to pay vary on whether you’re purchasing the unlimited food, or you also want to purchase the unlimited drinks. With the unlimited yakiniku fukuoka course, you can order all the meat included on the chosen course.

Just look at how delectable the meat are? See that marbling?

Side dishes
Apart from having unlimited meat, you also have unlimited side dishes like kimchi, salad, soup, etc. I found this is great because when you’ve eaten a lot of meat, you suddenly want something that’s different taste and texture.

Suddenly, you look for soup, salads, and something sour of that sort. So, thanks to side dishes like these, you get to cleanse your palate so you’re ready for another round of meat in no time!
Sauces

We usually order plain or salted raw meat, so we need these sauces to add more flavor to the meat that we eat. Noka no Ippuka have many sauces like lemon, soy sauce, etc.
All you can drink
For the unlimited drinks, there are 2 types. You can either avail of the unlimited drinks (meaning all the drinks including soda, beer, cocktails, etc.) by adding 1,540 JPY (579.37 PHP or 9.87 USD).

However, you can pay 500 JPY (188.06 PHP or 3.21 USD) for unlimited refills of soda and ice cream only. Of course, we don’t want to get full from drinking too much, so we didn’t avail Noka no Ippuku’s unlimited drinks.

Free gum

At the end of your meal, I’m sure you’d want something to chew on. Noka no Ippuku offers chewing gum for anyone who needs it after that satisfying meal. A spearmint-flavored gum? Why not!

What to eat in Fukuoka
Looking for Fukuoka food not typically found in any other parts of Japan? Below are some of Fukuoka specialty that you need to try when you’re there.
Mentaiko

We learned about mentaiko after checking the many Fukuoka food stalls around Tenjin. And you might say that it’s just an egg, but there’s actually more to it. The spicy fish egg filling of the egg roll is what would make you ask for more.
Ichiran

Not just your typical Ichiran, the one found in Nakasu, Fukuoka, is Ichiran’s main branch. You’ll be amazed at the tall building decorated with the Ichiran logo. Go there at about 8PM, and you’ll witness a special performance.
Hakata ramen

Sure, Hakata ramen might taste like just your ordinary ramen. But it’s actually made of tonkotsu broth, so you’re sure that what you’ll be having is the real deal. Make sure to have it at least once during your Fukuoka trip!
Motsunabe

If you’re going to visit Fukuoka in winter, better add motsunabe to your bucket list. This hearty soup is made of pork or beef offal – yes, small intestines – that makes a great tasting dish if you want to fill your empty stomach!
Sadly, we weren’t able to try it since hubby is a not a fan. Nonetheless, I won’t think twice about trying it next time!
