Cafe Dia Clark – A trip to Pampanga wouldn’t be complete without trying out coffee shops. And Cafe Dia Clark Pampanga was the first cafe we visited during our vacation. Apart from the vast choices of coffee and food, Cafe Dia has an amazing playground for youngsters.
Previously, I wrote about our extraordinary experience at the Widus Hotel & Casino. And if you want to have a taste of authentic Japanese restaurant, Chiba Japanese Restaurant is a must-try if you go to Clark.

Free cake on your birthday

You will receive a random cake to celebrate your birthday. Don’t worry, if you did not like the selected cake given to you, you can always order another one of your choice available on the Cafe Dia Pampanga menu.
Cafe Dia Pampanga
We arrived at Cafe Dia coffee shop Clark Pampanga at about 4 PM and the cafe was jam-packed! While it has al fresco space, we don’t really want to stay there and break our sweat.
There were mushroom-shaped tables and chairs to attract children al fresco. It’s a great place to unwind and have chitchats with families and friends on windy days. The blue hue of the sky helps us get connected back to nature.
But since we also brought children along, we wouldn’t want them suffering from too much heat in the afternoon. So, we waited for customers to leave to be seated. Thankfully, while some of us were queueing to order, the other group found a table.
Cafe Dia has a modern coffee shop vibe. LED lights on the ceiling added to the feeling of the vibrancy of the cafe. The store has many collectibles displayed in glass cabinets. You’ll surely have a relaxing time when you go there.
In front of Cafe Dia is a large park where children can play. Artificial grass is everywhere along with huge trees and open benches. Children can run around freely without worries and enhance their gross motor skills.
There are also bridges where kids can walk to promote their balance. Our toddler was attracted to the open space in front of Cafe Dia. Had we not stopped him, he would have played for hours there until the sun sets.
Cafe Dia Clark Menu
Not only serving coffee and sweet pastries, Cafe Dia Clark also serves a whole lot of hot dishes. I was surprised to see salads, sandwiches, and finger food on its menu. Other than that, it also serves pizza and pasta, so you can have your lunch or dinner there too!
For drinks, you can choose from the many different beverage variants on its menu. Kids can enjoy smoothies and ade, while non-coffee drinkers can opt to drink tea or herbal tea. We tried some of its iced tea and they were superb!
For people who couldn’t start their day without caffeine, there’s a bunch of coffee drinks on the Cafe Dia menu. Choose from espresso to cappuccino to other flavored coffee, and have them hot, cold, or even frappe.
There are also blended non-coffee-based drinks such as matcha, chocolate, and even dark chocolate. But then again, you can also order canned sodas or bottled water if you like it simple.
If you don’t want to drink but are craving something cold and sweet, you can try out Cafe Dia’s bingsu! Available from 12 NN to 9 PM, Korean shaved iced dessert has 3 variants namely: strawberry, Oreo, and mango. For the price of PHP 350 (USD 6.25), you can share it with a friend or partner.
We liked the Dark Chocolate Frappe and the Honey Citron Tea. Our toddler loved the Ube Cake slice we ordered for him. He was able to finish almost one slice of cake! The Sans Rival and Chocolate Cake seemed good too!
Find activities on Klook!
The best part of visiting Pampanga is that it has lots of activities to offer you. If you are like us, who have a kid, you’d surely love to bring her to Clark Safari and Adventure or the Dinosaurs Island.
Another place that offers animal sightings and fun activities is the Zoocobia Fun Zoo. In it, there are rides and educational attractions that are helpful for young children’s minds development. Your children can experience close encounters with animals and can feed animals at the barn.
On our previous visit to Clark, we went to the Sky Ranch Pampanga before we head back home. Our toddler enjoyed unlimited rides because we didn’t have to wait in line to ride. The place wasn’t crowded in the afternoon because of the hot weather.
If you love nature and would like to experience a 4×4 offroading ride, then you must try Inararo Ecotour from Manila to Clark. You can even dip into Cubang Hotspring to help relax stiff muscles, and admission is included in the tour package.
The driver will pick you up at SM Clark, and you have to be there earlier than the recommended time. Do take note that children 7 years old and below are not allowed to join the tour, and the tour requires at least 4 participants for it to push through, otherwise, you can reschedule your tour or request a refund.
The takeaway
Is Cafe Dia bang for the buck? Yeah. Will we go back again? Definitely! — if we are in the area. What food and drinks have you tried at Cafe Dia? I’d love to hear about them in the comments section below!
