Yotteba Izakaya Revolution – Want to know where to eat in Makati for dinner that’s something new? We found a new izakaya where you can experience not only the Japan taste, but even a Japanese-inspired toilet. How cool is that?

Chicken wings promo
Upon arriving at Yotteba restaurant, we found a huge display of promotion displayed outside. It says that you can get chicken wings for only 18 PHP (0.30 USD) per piece when you dine there on the 18th day of the month.

I’m not sure until when is this promo period, but better to go there soon because we never know when it will be over! Do take note that there’s a limit to the number of chicken wings you can order per person, also this is until supplies last. So, what are you waiting for?!
Makati Iazakaya menu price
When we arrived at Yotteba Izakaya Revolution Makati, the staff immediately let us in. Thankfully, it wasn’t peak hours yet, so we had a table to sit. While eating, we found that people started lining up outside, so if you’re planning to eat here, make sure to either make a reservation or go there early.

To check the Yotteba Izakaya menu, you have to scan the QR code they will give you, which is for your table number as well. You’ll be placing your orders there, and after some time, the food will come out.

Chicken karaage

As always, we ordered tori karaage, which is one of the dishes we usually use to gauge whether a Japanese restaurant is authentic or not. And yes, this one’s legit, because you can definitely feel and taste the gingery soy sauce taste with each bite.
The 5 pieces of fried chicken for PHP 229 (3.84 USD) is totally worth it!
Yotteba gyudon with boiled egg

A gyudon can’t be complete without runny soft boiled egg – so we ordered an additional boiled egg and the total order price is PHP 239 (4.01 USD). Not bad for a classic bowl of beef gyudon!
If you love rice, then you should order this one, as there’s a generous serving in it.
Beef sukiyaki
Have you been following me on our Japanese restaurant journey? If yes, I’m sure you won’t be surprised about us ordering sukiyaki. Because we’ve been trying sukiyakis from different restaurants we’re eating.
So, we couldn’t not order beef sukiyaki after seeing it on the Yotteba Makati menu.

And it arrived just the way we liked it – with a butane gas stove. However, my eyes were burning since the air conditioner kept blowing the flame (probably?) into my eyes. It wasn’t until we left that my eyes felt better.
Make sure to stay away from the flame if you’re going to order the beef sukiyaki!
The claypot has a lot inside! It was good for 3 to 4 people, because it had a bunch of beef slices, golden mushrooms, tofu, and other veggies. What I find the only downside is that the sukiyaki didn’t have noodles and egg.
Nonetheless, the soup was great, and if only they could add the missing pieces, then it would have been perfect. Not bad for the price of PHP 699 (11.72 USD), though.
Gyoza

Yotteba’s gyoza is the bomb!
I certainly love how charred the skin of their gyoza was. The yummy taste of char-grilled crunchy outer layer of gyoza added a lot of flavor to the chewy meat inside. It’s my first time having a gyoza that’s charred but not deep-fried, so I immediately fell in love!
Make sure to try this one out – because for PHP 199 (3.34 USD), you’re getting more than what you’re paying for!
Lightly grilled salmon roll
They mean it when they said lightly grilled salmon. And the 8 pieces of maki roll was enough to make you feel full because you can see that the salmon slices are sufficient to make each bite flavorful.

We’ll definitely try a different roll the next time we go back! This order is only PHP 339 (5.69 USD) btw.
Yottebasaki (2 pcs chicken wings)
We were already halfway when hubby decided to try the Yottebasaki.
But we were flabbergasted when it arrived. The 2 pieces of chicken wings were drenched in ground black pepper, so I highly suggest you order a mug of lemon sour to go with this one because it will definitely burn your mouth.

But for PHP 119 (2 USD), this was okay, since it wasn’t that pricey, and the chicken wings were cooked very nicely. Only that it was too spicy, even I, who loved spicy food, wasn’t ready.
Private Room

If you like to have a private room, you can reserve it for a consumable amount of PHP 4,000 (66.87 USD). But don’t worry, you can use the amount to purchase food and drinks, and if you’re going there before 4 PM, no consumable amount is needed.
Japan-like restroom
If you want to feel like you’ve been to Japan, better to visit Yotteba’s restroom! It comes with the futuristic toilet bowl. There’s a remote control for bidet and flushing as well! And the place is neat too, so you’ll surely be comforted when you go there.

Tomo Japanese Dining is almost always full especially during peak hours. So if you want to secure slots without reservation, better be there early – just before their opening, so you’d be the first ones to go in.
