Toyama Manten Hotel getting there
How to get to Toyama Manten Hotel?
It may not be one of Toyama hotels near station, but the walk is actually really nice! You get to view a quiet side of Toyama you don’t usually experience in Tokyo or Osaka. The 12-minute walk would surely relax you!
Although it is 700 meters from the nearest station Dentetsu-Toyama station, Toyama Manten Hotel would help you relieve of your stresses and tiredness. It has an onsen that’s totally FREE!
How to spot Toyama Manten Hotel?

It’s very easy to spot it because of its brick red exterior. There’s also the name of the hotel in nihongo, however, it’d be hard to see if you can’t read it. So just take note of how the building looks like, and I’m sure you’ll find it in no time!
Let’s go check the other Toyama Manten Hotel amenities!
Amenities
Amenities is one of the things to consider when booking a Japan hotel. But, now we don’t book just any hotel, because sometimes we look for other extra amenities. What do you need to know about Toyama Manten Hotel? Go ahead and find out below!
Skin care, comb, other toiletries

Many of the Japan hotels we’ve stayed at for the past 3 years, their typical amenities are displayed in their lobbies. You can get whatever you need during your stay.
Microwave, vendo, and ice machine

Another thing we want during our Japan trip is easy access to microwave, vendo, and ice machine. Why, it’s easier to have a quick breakfast when you have a microwave just a few floors to heat your kombini beef bowl.

Also, it’s way cheaper to make your very own iced black coffee when you just have to mix the instant coffee to hot water then add ice. You might think those are little things, but they make traveling so much easier – and affordable!
Work station
If your room’s too small for work, you can go to the work station located on the same floor as the microwave. In there, you can quietly stay and leave the place when you’re done.

Smoking area
Outside the work station, there’s a tiny space where you can smoke. Thankfully, the sliding door separates the 2, so you don’t have to smell the smoke while working there.
Onsen

I was surprised to find there’s an onsen because the Toyama Manten Hotel price isn’t that high. The onsen is unmanned, so you have to follow the rules strictly so as not to cause any problems with the other guests.
A pass code will be given to access the female onsen for safety – which changes everyday. And the onsen is complete with towels, hair brush, and skin care, so you don’t have to bring.
Massage chair and drinks

Outside the onsens, there are coin-operated massage chairs for more relaxation. And they say that it’s best to drink milk after that refreshing hot bath, so onsens usually have a vendo machine for different flavored milk.

Toyama Manten Hotel onsen even has a beer dispenser beside the milk vending machine. And both aren’t for free so bring some coins if you want to buy!
Toyama Manten Hotel reviews conclusion
This Toyama hotel with onsen might just be what you’re looking for. Apart from the relaxing 12-minute walk from the train station, you can enjoy a relaxing hot spring experience for FREE! So, if you’re looking for Toyama places to stay, do think about booking Toyama Manten Hotel!

Toyama Glass Art Museum
Many things to do in Toyama, Japan, that are worth it. And I can say that if you love arts and appreciate them, better to go to Toyama Glass Art Museum. The place showcases a lot of very nice glass pieces, which are very fragile, so take care if you’re traveling with kids!
