New Aureo Hotel, La Union – After coming back from our recent stay at Aureo La Union, I knew I had to write something about it because it has some different parts that you need to know! Of course, you also want to know the new Aureo Hotel rates, so I’m sharing them down!

We loved the new one better!) – To start of, you have to know that the new Aureo Hotel La Union price is a lot higher than the old building – mainly because it’s newer, plus it has more amenities (although some aren’t available yet).
We have also stayed at Awesome Hotel, but that was so long ago. And it was under renovation that time – so, I’m sure they have better amenities now. But you can also check their website for more info.

10 things to take note when staying at the new Aureo Hotel
We booked a premium room, with 2 separate beds, because what can be better than one bed, right? If you want to have a little bit of space with your room mate, better to get the 2 separate beds. Do take note that it’s still subject to availability whether you could get your requests.
Free service to and fro the 2 buildings
It was raining hard when we arrived at the Aureo Hotel. And the road leading to the new Aureo Hotel were very bad, so bad that there were puddles of water — meaning your car might sink into them no matter how careful you drive. The new building is just adjacent the old one, the only difference is the entrance.
So we decided to go to the old building first, and when we arrived, we asked the staff if there is another way to get to the new building. Thankfully, they offer free service so we can just park in the old building.
Be reminded, though, that the free shuttle service is until 10 PM only.
Same ambiance
Upon entering our room, we immediately got that same vibe as the old Aureo hotel, except that there’s a bit of a difference – which actually doesn’t affect much of our stay. To start off, this new Aureo La Union room had that hotel vibe, compare to the old one which had that resort vibe.
It might be a little bit vague, but to be fair, they’re both relaxing and you can sleep really well in their beds. You just know that this one’s new, and the old one’s more classic.
Toilet and shower in one room
In the old Aureo hotels we stayed at, they mostly had separate toilet and shower area, whereas in the new Aureo La Union luxury hotel, they’re together in a single room. So, when one is using the toilet, you can’t go in to take a shower if you still have that privacy.
Better swimming pools
Something that’s really different with the new Aureo Hotel is the number of swimming pools they have. In the old area, they have 5 outdoor swimming pools. Here in the new one, they have 2 large pools, 1 kiddie pool, and 1 very long loop pool.
I was surprised to find that they have way longer river pool here than the old one. But apart from that, they have a new addition to they swimming pool…
Waterpark
The newest addition to the kiddie activity area is the waterpark.
While my son enjoys his swim in the river pool (old), he was very giddy upon finding a waterpark in this new area. Maybe now he understands why we always go to this La Union Hotel and Resort.
The only downside was that it was rainy during our visit, so we weren’t able to enjoy our stay. But I know that we’d still go back again here in the future!
Aureo Hotel breakfast buffet – more yummy
When I checked the new Aureo Hotel breakfast buffet, I was a bit impressed because they had better food here than in the old one. (However, if you watch my vlog, you might notice that the food were almost empty – and hubby thinks that because there are only few people dining so to prevent food spoilage, they are probably controlling the food they serve out)
Thankfully, after waiting for a few minutes, the staff comes out replenishing the food. So, I was able to get the best of them.
Free snacks
Just like with the old Aureo Hotel La Union, we also got free chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. Only that they forgot to give us ours, so we had to ask from the receptionist, since we thought that we wouldn’t be getting them.
Turns out, they just forgot, so if you’ve checked in and found no snacks in your room, just politely ask from the front desk and they’d gladly give you yours!
Adventure zone and spa
We were excited when we saw that there’s an adventure zone on the 2nd floor and spa on the 8th, however, we couldn’t access the floor with our room key. Turns out that the area isn’t completed yet. So, I’ll just update my Aureo review if ever we go back and it’s already accessible.
Aureo merch
Some Aureo Hotel merch you might want to give as gift to your love ones are found in the lobby of the new Aureo Hotel. There are also some local delicacies so in case you forgot to bring snacks for your stay, you can just buy them there.

So here comes the best part.
I’m sure you’re excited to find out how much the new Aureo Hotel price is. And to break it down to you, the room that we booked was still in its introductory price – so we couldn’t complain about the other amenities not yet completed.

Jpark Resort and Waterpark

One of the best hotels in Bohol (I believe) is Amorita. They have everything you might need, from kids play area, to your relaxation (spa), and everything in between. I assure you that when you go to Amorita, you’re going to have a blast and would dread going back home.

I don’t frequent Davao, but when a friend invited us to go to Discovery Samal, we went and short as it was (we only stated one night), it was a definitely a trip to remember.
