If you want to take a break from your usual daily life but still want the comfort of home, I recommend staying at Dusit Thani Residences. Because here, you’ll get the hotel vibe yet the coziness of a home.

Swimming pool
It was a rainy night when we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence, yet it didn’t stop us from swimming in the pool. While chilly, we slowly dipped our feet, legs, until we finally got ourselves into the pool in no time.
And because it was drizzling rain, we had the whole pool to ourselves. What a treat!
Dusit Thani’s swimming pool was huge and I like that it is irregular in shape, which felt like you’re in a maze while finding your way out to the other side. Nonetheless, you can’t get lost, so just jump in!
Kitchen
When I see the word “residence” connected to a hotel, I know immediately that there’d be a kitchen or something of that sort inside the room. True enough, here at Dusit Thani Residence, there’s a mini kitchen where you can make simple meals for in case you crave something only you can make!
Sofa
While the room might not be that spacious, they were still able to squeeze in a sofa for your coffee time or what you just want to do out of bed.
Complete toiletries
Don’t worry about forgetting to bring any of the essentials, because here at Dusit Thani Residence, you can take a shower with all the basic toiletries you might need. There’s shampoo, conditioner and body wash, dental kits, shower cap, and even lotion!
Breakfast buffet
This review can’t be complete without a talk about Dusit Thani Davao buffet, because it fills your tummy with all the good things that brings you back home.
I like that they have Filipino delicacies you don’t usually buy — kutchinta, suman, etc. And it sometimes makes you want to indulge even if you’re on a strict diet. So, make sure to head down to the breakfast buffet early on, if you don’t want to squeeze into the crowd!
Starbucks
Starbucks inside the hotel? Why not! Here at Dusit Thani Davao Residence, you can get your favorite frappuccino without leaving the area. Add to that, you can enjoy your coffee drink with a stunning pool view — check it at night!
