Deuces Coffee – As a coffee lover, I couldn’t help but be attracted to any coffee shop we’d encounter. And Deuces Coffee is surely one of those cafes you should check out because of the quality of drinks it offers.

How it all started?
After watching their interview, founders of Deuces Coffee started as a coffee bean supplier back in 2018. However, since the pandemic happened, everything has to change and it’s the reason we have Deuces Coffee right now.
Julie Terrei and Hanna Ortega are two individuals who got stuck with 1 ton of coffee beans so they had to make a plan before the beans started losing value. Eventually, Julie started posting on social media until a friend inquired and everything was history!
The duo started opening Deuces Coffee in SM Aura in March 2024, and now they have 3 more Deuces branches: Makati, Pasay, and Muntinlupa.

On the Deuces Coffee menu, there are a lot to choose from. But what struck me the most is Cortado (which I learned in the coffee learning class before, more about it in future post). And since I don’t usually see it on other coffee shop’s menu, I went for it.
NOTE: There’s a 5% service charge on your orders, so don’t be surprised when you pay at the cashier.
Cortado
When I got my cup of cortado, I saw it was in a small cup not filled to the brim. And yeah, that’s what to expect when you go to specialty coffee shops.
So what is a cortado?
Unbeknownst to many, cortado is a mixture of equal portions of espresso and steamed milk. You’ll feel the acidity less because of the amount of milk incorporated in the drink.
We ordered the iced cortado, and it sure hit the spot! Definitely something to look back to in the future.
Espresso Tonic
Hubby, on the other hand, wanted something refreshing so he ordered Espresso Tonic. If you want the refreshing taste of soda water with less guilt, then you should consider Espresso Tonic.
Another thing I want to take note of about Deuces Coffee is the quality of coffee cup it uses. Heat resistant cups protect your hands from getting burned if you order a hot drink, so it’s a great way to save the Mother Earth, since they don’t have to buy a sleeve which lessens the trash.
Deuces Coffee ambiance
I’m not sure of all Deuces Philippines branches have the same ambiance as that in SM Aura, but I like that the place was very cozy and a really quiet place for you to truly relax as you sip on your favorite drink.
The light pink interiors brings out a healing and peaceful vibe, so if you’re stress and just want to chill, it’s better to have your orders for here so you can forget about your worries.
Deuces Coffee reviews conclusion
Since there aren’t many specialty coffee near me, I usually have to find one elsewhere if I wish to have a different kind of drink apart from my usual one. So, when we went to SM Aura, it was a great opportunity to try Deuces Coffee.
I think there aren’t many Deuces reviews out there, so I knew I had to make one for people to know how good their coffee is. Apart from that, I know that I’m helping a fellow Filipino with every sip that I make.
