Samwon Garden, Malate – We found an unlimited Korean grill place in Malate where we can finally enjoy eating in peace because it isn’t very crowded during our dinner time.

Recently, we tried dining at a legit Korean restaurant which offers large servings of dishes also found in Malate — which is called Seokchon. If you love Korean dishes like us, then you should check out the things we ate there.

Samwon Garden price menu

When we dined at Samwon Garden, the price we paid was PHP 699 (USD 10.96) per person, and now, it has already increased to PHP 899 (USD 14.10). So, just a heads-up that prices might change anytime, so if you want to try it, it’s best to try it early on.
Quality meat

Surprisingly, the meat quality is good for the price we paid. You can order your meat from the staff, but you can also get it yourself in the freezer.
Banchan

I especially love the banchan presentation here in Samwon Garden. The staff will start preparing your side dishes and serve them to you in a 9-hole tray with all the goodies you can pair with your unlimited BBQ grill. It’s nice when BBQ grills have many side dishes so that you can have a change of taste in your palate after each piece of meat.

Fried chicken, tempura, and mandu
Apart from grilled beef and pork, you can also enjoy fried chicken, tempura, and mandu. There’s also steamed mandu if you want it less oily. Sometimes it’s also great to eat other dishes when you eat grilled meat. It’s a great way to cleanse your palate of the greasy meat slices.

Egg fried rice, potato balls, and fish cake
While waiting for your meat to be cooked, you can get some cooked food at the buffet table. Fill your hungry tummy with egg fried rice, potato balls, and fish cake as starters. Or you can pair them with your beef and pork.

Steamed egg and cheese
A serving of steamed egg will be served by the Samwon Garden staff on your table, which is one of my hubby’s favorites. For some reason, I find it amusing that Korean restaurants season their steamed eggs perfectly, which is hard for me to achieve every time. So, I still have so much to learn to cook it properly.

A staff walked by and asked us if we want cheese for our unlimited samgyeupsal, of course, we said yes!

Juices
There are also self-service juices included in your Samwon Garden menu.
But, we only drank water because we’d rather get the calories from meat than drinks! But then again, you can choose to have juices if you want. You can also order soda or soju – with an additional charge to your total bill.

If you didn’t like my Samwon Garden photos, you should check out their menu instead. In it, you can find what’s included in the unlimited grill option, so you know which ones you can order during your time. Do take note that they have a 6 + 1 promo, so bring your family and friends along to save on cash!
Samwon Garden Manila reviews conclusion
Samwon Garden Korean BBQ is a place to enjoy yummy dishes at an affordable price. And what I liked best about this Malate Korean restaurant is that it isn’t as crowded as other korean grills we’ve eaten.

Other Korean BBQ grills you should try
You should know by now how much I love Korean dishes, seeing how many unlimited Korean grill and a la carte dishes we’ve tried. Below are some of the Korean grill restaurants we love.
Oori Korean Restaurant

One of the recent unlimited grill we tried is Oori Korean Restaurant.
Found in Sheraton Manila Hotel, this Korean buffet is a place to dine at if you want some peace and an excellent window view. Because outside is the airport, you can watch planes flying and landing as you enjoy grilled meat.
Wolhwa Galbi
Wolhwa Galbi unlimited BBQ grill offers quite a bit of a limited meat choices. And their specialty, is aged pork – and I certainly loved it. However, since we prefer beef over pork, we don’t usually dine there. Do check out their meat quality here.
Goryeo Korean Dining
One of the restaurants in Okada Manila, Goryeo Korean Dining is one of those that offer any Korean craving you can have. You can either get the unlimited Korean grill, but you can also order a la carte dishes that are authentic, I assure you.
