Wolhwa Galbi Unlimited Premium Korean BBQ – Constantly in search for the best Korean unlimited BBQ (MOA), we found the first of Wolhwa Galbi branches in the Philippines and I’m sure we’ll be back before its grand opening!

Wolhwa Galbi location
Located on the ground floor of MAAX Building, Wolhwa Galbi is an unlimited Korean BBQ (SM MOA) restaurant that’s a first in the country. After opening on December 16, 2024, it’s still in soft opening so you should try it out if you’re in the area for a discounted price!

Wolhwa Galbi MOA price
Wolhwa Galbi price now is discounted: 599 Php (10.34 USD) Mondays to Thursdays, 699 Php (12.06 USD) Fridays to Sundays, and holidays. Original price are 699 Php (12.06 USD) and 799 Php (13.79 USD), respectively.
Kids below 3 ft eat for FREE!
All kids below 3 ft can eat for FREE, and kids between 3 ft to 4 ft get to enjoy the unlimited Korean BBQ at half the price!
Wolhwa Galbi menu
We arrived at 7 PM at the restaurant, and while there wasn’t a very long line, we had to wait to be seated. Being third in line, we stayed outside for about 20 minutes or so, and when the staff called our name, we immediately went in.
At Wolhwa Galbi, you can choose between 2 different courses for the best unli samgyupsal experience. With the regular course, you can enjoy quality meat – pork and beef – with different sauces.
But if you want to up your dining experience, you can upgrade your course by adding 149 Php (2.57 USD). Best of all, you also get unlimited CHEESE with this meal, because who doesn’t love cheese?!

Gold course inclusions (plus regular course meats):
- Wolhwa special 56-day aged premium galbi
- 7-day special dry aged samgyupsal
- 7-day special dry aged beef woosamgyup
- CHEESE
Of course, we chose to upgrade our course because the additional price is not that much. After a few seconds, our orders already arrived, and a staff started cooking our first meat. He put the 7-day dry aged samgyupsal into the grill, and advised us how to best enjoy the meat – that is to just add salt to fully enjoy the meat.
Aaaannddd he was right!
The samgyupsal was very juicy and flavorful even without marinate. We loved it to bits, so we ordered more of it until we couldn’t eat anymore.
Of course, you can always dip the meat in sauce if you prefer. But sometimes, it pays to follow the advice of the staff to have a more enjoyable experience.
Korean side dishes
Apart from the meat dishes, another requirement when dining at an unlimited Korean BBQ restaurant are side dishes. Get unlimited refills of rice, lettuce, kimchi, japchae, braised quail eggs, pickled radish wrap, steamed egg, and corned butter.
But my favorite among all the side dishes is the sundubu jjigae. It has the right balance of seafood, meat, tofu, and soybean all in a sizzling black bowl. Obviously, one of the reasons we’d be coming back for more!
Squid Game Toy
If you love drinking soju and Squid Game, then you’ll definitely love it more at Wolhwa Galbi MOA.
In the Korean samgyupsal MOA, you can borrow a squid game-themed toy you can play with your friends and relatives. The girl in red light green light game rotates her head when you press the button at the back, and the one she faces has to drink a shot of soju.
Do take note that soju is not part of the Korean unlimited BBQ MOA menu, so you have to pay extra in case you want to play with the Squid Game toy.
Air conditioning unit problem
Just a heads up that if you plan to have lunch or dinner, you might get seated at a part without cooling system, so better be prepared!
Thankfully, I have my reliable Jisulife mini fan, so I was all cool during our dinner!
Wolhwa Galbi (Pasay) reviews
It’s always fun to try new things, especially if you suddenly found a gem – whilst not everyone knows about it yet. And since we love samgyupsal, we couldn’t let Wolhwa Galbi unlimited Korean BBQ MOA has to offer. (at least, they’re very near the mall)
I’m not really sure if my Wolhwa Galbi MOA photos gave justice to how the meat tastes. But I can say that it’s really worth the money we paid for. If you want to try it, make sure to go there before their soft opening ends – that is until they haven’t finished building the whole place!
