Muji Cafe, MOA – It’s not my first time seeing Muji Cafe in SM Mall of Asia, but it’s the first time we tried to order there. If you haven’t yet, you should too! Especially if you love matcha!
Around UNIQLO, there are lots of cafe nearby. Since we haven’t been to SM Mall of Asia for quite a while, I just noticed now the different competing cafes around the area. But since we haven’t tried Muji Cafe, we decided to try it out.

Muji Cafe menu, Ph
Upon checking the Muji Cafe MOA menu, we found lots of interesting things to eat. And since we already ate somewhere else and our target really are desserts, we skipped the meals, and checked the drinks instead.
On the menu, you’ll find not only coffees and teas, but also quite unique flavored iced teas. There are also other drinks topped with soft serve ice cream. So, if you’re in for something cool and sweet, you can try them out!
Apart from the drinks, there are also some hot meals you can try if you want.
We found rice dishes served with savory viands where majority of them are curry flavored. So if you’re not a fan of curry, better to find somewhere else to eat. Nonetheless, they also have bread and cookies also, so if you plan to eat some snacks, it’d be nice to try them out.
What we ordered
The main focus of this post is to give a Muji Cafe drinks review, so let’s go into what we ordered and whether we liked them or not.
Iced Matcha Latte
We love matcha not only because of the great benefits it has, but also the grassy taste it leaves in our taste buds. So, we ordered the classic iced matcha latte – where green matcha meets the creamy white milk.
And, as usual, what we got is a great drink with a little bit of sweetness – make sure to mix the drink first before sipping! If not, you’ll get all the sweet taste first leaving the unsweetened part last.
Plain Soft Serve
We also tired the plain soft serve and it had the similar taste as that of the famous cheesecake ice cream we frequent. It has a creamy and again, not too sweet vanilla ice cream taste, which was to our liking!
If you rather want a sweeter dessert, then you can opt to order the flavored drinks and soft serve ice cream.
Muji MOA
One thing I liked about the place is that you have a different view from any other coffee shop since Muji Cafe is connected to where it sells goods. So, you can relax while drinking your Muji coffee and looking at the aesthetic stuff Muji sells.
However, I’m not sure if you’re allowed to browse through the store while drinking your favorite drink. If you do so, just be sure to be careful not to spill on any of their items, so as not to accidentally buy something you wouldn’t need.
Other Muji branches (Philippines)
The first cafe Muji (Philippines) opened in the Central Square Mall in BGC in April 2022. As of writing, there are already 5 branches located in Central Square, Uptown Mall, SM Mall of Asia, Shangri-La Plaza, and SM North EDSA.
Muji Cafe review blog conclusion
This may not be the Muji Cafe review (Philippines) that you’re looking for. But I assure you that when I do reviews, it’s just based on what is true per our experience. And if you didn’t like drink that I recommended, we might have different tastes after all.
