Magic is gaining fame now.
Last night my husband was watching a magic inspired series in netflix.
Magic was first introduced to us when we were young. Disney did a big part on it.
While young princesses were suffering from their stepmother and stepsisters’ harshness and evilness, a fairy godmother appeared out of nowhere and gave her new magical ballgown plus pumpkin-derived carriages, while turning her rat friends to horses, and so on. Many other stories followed through.
But is magic really happening?
What did God said about it?
Matthew 24:24 – “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
Do not believe these magic tricks. Because these are only illusions that trick our eye and mind. We will never understand how they do it. Sorcery and witchcraft will lead us to worshipping the wrong person – drawing us far from God.
While I am not saying that I am not amazed by what I have seen in the television last night, it does not mean that I will look unto him. These shows are there just to serve as entertainment to us. Hopefully christians will not be misguided by it. 🙂
