Best Kennedy Town photo spot
The main reason we want to visit Kennedy Town is to have that famous photo and video with a stunning view. Yes, if you want to pose and get a great view of the photo below, read on to know how to get your version.

Basketball
Among the great Kennedy Town places to go with family, this basketball court might just be a place you want your kids to enjoy.
Why?

Because apart from the basketball court, there’s also another field for kids to run and play. We also saw a playground. And when you’re thirsty, there’s a water fountain beside the playground, so you can refill your tumbler (Get Hong Kong travel tips here – coming from someone who understands the locals)
New Praya

So, the next place you need to add to your Kennedy Town itinerary is this – New Praya. If you see the sea from the basketball court, that’s where you should be heading to get to another picturesque place.

And it’s very hard to get lost, because all you have to do is to follow the road until you reach the end. Surely, you’ll see it in no time, because people are lining up just to take photos there!
Kennedy Town Waterfront Sitting Out Area
From New Praya, just cross the road, and you’ll be at Waterfront Promenade. There are benches where you can rest and just enjoy the scenic view. Why not stay there for the sunset?

Belcher Bay Promenade
Another Kennedy Town view you mustn’t miss is the Belcher Bay Promenade. The huge space of 5,900 sq meter space is surely enough for kids to run around. Apart from that, there’s a playground to keep kids busy for hours.

Personally, I liked the open space with benches, plus the relaxing ocean view. I won’t get tired of looking at these kinds of scenery!
Kennedy Town – where to eat?
Since we were in Kennedy Town, and it was already 5 PM, we decided to eat dinner before heading back to our hotel. So, while walking, we were looking for the best Kennedy Town places to eat.
We ended up dining at a dimsum restaurant, and got a jackpot!

Since it was still off-peak during that time, we got discounts on our bill. Kung Fu Dimsum offers 20% off if you eat there during the afternoon. So, you won’t think twice about ordering so much. Read my full Kung Fu Dim Sum here.

Kennedy Town reviews conclusion
I’m sure there are many Kennedy Town places to visit at night that we missed. But since we were already quite tired after walking and checking new things there, all we wanted was to get back to Hotel Madera Hong Kong and relax.
