Sanrio Harmonyland, Fukuoka, Part 2 – If you’re here it must’ve mean you’re curious about the other Sanrio Harmonyland rides, isn’t it? Well, I don’t want to use all of your time reading the introduction, so let’s head straight to the part 2!
But if you haven’t read the part 1, you can read more about it here.
Sanrio Harmonyland rides

During the first part of my Sanrio Harmonyland review, I gave the instructions on how to get to the cute theme park, and some of the rides and attractions to see. The second part is a continuation of our journey inside the utterly cute amusement park.
Whitebirds Square

When you go up the colorful stairs, you’ll reach another spot with more rides, called Whitebirds Square. The trip going up is quite long so you must remember to bring water and your fan, especially when going there during summer.

Thankfully, we went there still winter weather, so it wasn’t that hot, even while under the sun. Don’t worry if you have a stroller, because you can go up the ramp to the left.
Sanrio EV go-kart
One part I didn’t see was the Sanrio EV go-kart. It was very near the Ferris wheel, but I don’t recall seeing it somewhere there. You also need to pay 500 JPY for this ride, so maybe that’s the reason my selective eye didn’t see it.
Ferris Wheel Wonder Panorama

I watched many Sanrio Harmonyland videos and one vlogger said that Sanrio Harmonyland main attraction is the Ferris Wheel. When you ride it, you’ll know why. Because you’ll see the whole Harmonyland amusement park.

I like that there are cute Sanrio characters in each one of the ferris wheel cars. However, the staff didn’t let us choose my Kuromi. Huhu! Still, we enjoyed the chilling ride.
Hello Kitty Angel Coaster

Another thrilling ride you should check is the Hello Kitty Angel Coaster. Not as scary as the Rhythmic Coaster, this cute ride will remind you of the ride we had at Kijima Kogen Park called Dragon Boat.
The fast roller coaster doesn’t do loops, so if you’re someone who has just started riding exciting rides, then this one’s for you!
Sky Jet

Sky Jet is one of the most famous rides in Sanrio Harmonyland, at least based on my observation.
Because even though there wasn’t a very long line when we got there, people starting piling up behind us while we were waiting for our turn.

The ride will depend on how fast the people are driving it, so it may take a while for you to hop on if the one in front of you drives very slowly. But if you’re there, you’ll surely enjoy the ride because it’s very relaxing and you can watch the people below as you drive past them.
Water Shot

If you grew up playing with water guns, you’ll surely want your child to enjoy playing with them too! The best part of Sanrio Harmonyland is that your child won’t get wet in the process. All your child has to do is shoot the targets on the walls while riding a car.
Strawberry Cafe

I’m sure I have mentioned before that my son loves the cup ride.
When he saw Strawberry Cafe’s cups, he didn’t think twice about riding it! In fact, he rode it 3 times! The best part about it are the cute Sanrio characters decorated on each cup!
Fairy Kitty Carousel

Just like with any other carousels, the Fairy Kitty Carousel is a relaxing ride my son also loves. There’s also a 2nd floor here (just like in Huis Ten Bosch), so you can get a better view of the area plus more cool wind!
Pops Mile

Patiently waiting in line for his turn, my son was very excited to try Pops Mile. He wanted to choose a character, but it was based on luck! Thankfully, all the Sanrio characters are too cute, so my son was very giddy during the ride.
The only downside is that there was very small leg room, so if you’re tall and long-legged, you’ll have a hard time enjoying the ride.
Spin Trick

Cinnamoroll’s Spin Trick ride was under maintenance during our visit, so we weren’t able to try it. It looks like a lighter version of a pirate ship ride, so I think even kids will enjoy its thrill!
Game Plaza
The Game Plaza is a place to enjoy arcade games, but I think you have to use coins to play. Apparently, I missed taking a photo of the place.
Carnival Square
The Carnival Square is one of my favorites! Because the place is less crowded and you have to ride the boat to get there. And then to go back to the main amusement park, you must ride the train again.

And it’s one of the best amusement train rides, because of the long travel time and you get to enjoy a nice scenery the whole trip. It’s a must ride for children and adults!
Sanrio Character Boat Ride

Sanrio Harmonyland’s version of Disneyland’s “It’s a small world,” is called the Sanrio Character Boat Ride. In this safe ride, you’ll pass by a huge array of cute displays with most of the famous Sanrio characters.

The 10-minute boat ride will make you forget all your worries, because of the lovely displays you’ll see inside the tunnel. Not to mention, the seemingly talking Sanrio characters join you in your short journey, bringing out the kid in you.
Sanrio Puroland vs Harmonyland

If you ask me, “Which one’s better, Sanrio Harmonyland vs Puroland?,” it’ll be hard for me to answer because I haven’t been to Sanrio Puroland. That one is located in Tokyo, and this one we visited is one of Oita tourist attractions.
Even though majority of the rides in Harmonyland are for kids, I loved everything about it! Because as a fan of Sanrio, getting inside a Sanrio world is one of the best things to experience!
I saw in one review that Sanrio Harmonyland is bigger than Puroland, so I think it was a wise choice to visit it. Nonetheless, I’d be happy to go to Puroland the next time we go back to Tokyo.
Sanrio Harmonyland review conclusion
Adding Sanrio Harmonyland to our Kyushu Fukuoka itinerary was one of the best things I did, especially since I’m one of Sanrio collectors who adore the cheeky Kuromi. Although I didn’t see a Kuromi mascot in the theme park, I was happy to see so many cute stuff everywhere I look.
And by paying the cheap Sanrio Harmonyland price, I can say that you’re gonna have a great time if you adore the cute characters. The theme park is decorated and made purposefully to give joy to kids young and old.
I hope you enjoyed this Harmonyland review! Let me hear your comments in the box below!

Unique things to do in Fukuoka day trip
So many things to do in Fukuoka but so little time to research? Fret not! Below are some of my recommended places you should visit to enjoy your stay!
Kijima Kogen Park

Kijima Kogen Park is an underrated Fukuoka tourist spot you shouldn’t miss especially if you love thrilling rides! But you know what’s best about Kijima Kogen Park? Is that you don’t have to line up to ride your favorite ride because when we visited it, it didn’t have the same crowd as the mainstream Japan theme parks like Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan.

Yufuin
Looking for Fukuoka places to shop with cute stuff? Look no further!
Yufuin is the place to be if you want to go back home feeling happy and satisfied – from seeing cute stuff and displays to buying what you want and finally healing your inner child!

Dazaifu Amusement Park
If you’ve been searching about Fukuoka attractions, then you must’ve learned about Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. However, unknown to many, there’s a hidden kiddie amusement park inside that was built long time ago.
Dazaifu Amusement Park is a cute kiddie theme park where toddlers to young children will surely enjoy. We visited the place since we were traveling with our son, and it was a great idea because the place had a cute vibe.

Marine World Uminonakamichi
There are many Fukuoka sites to see but if you’re traveling with young kids, it’s always good to know about zoos and aquariums. So, when I learned about Marine World Uminonakamichi, I immediately added it to our itinerary after learning about how cool the inside was.
Little did I know that I’d fall in love with it too!
