Want Something New? Try the Gallery by Witchcraft

The Gallery by Witchcraft – It’s not our first time seeing The Gallery by Witchcraft when we went to try it. But, just like you, we were afraid to try it since there weren’t many people going there. Turns out, you just have to trust your instinct, just like we did.

I’m sure you’ve been to Baguio before, but if you ever wonder why “The Gallery” doesn’t ring a bell? That’s because it isn’t located in Baguio’s most crowded streets.

Looking for a great place to stay with your families and friends? We spent 2 nights at Ecohouse Baguio (Airbnb), and it was a wise decision. Learn why here

The Gallery by Witchcraft menu

There are so many Baguio restaurants to try but if you’re looking for a less crowded place with a relaxing view, then you should check The Gallery by Witchcraft, because it not only boasts great dishes, but a wide range of alcoholic beverages made by them.

French onion soup

French Onion Soup, 260 Php (4.42 USD)

The first thing I noticed on The Gallery restaurant menu is the French onion soup. I dunno why, but I was drawn to it upon seeing it. When the soup arrived, I was very excited to try a sip, and it was a legit one!

Topped with Swiss cheese and baguette, the beef stock soup is full of caramelized onions – that would surely make you smile. I like that it was served hot to warm your cold belly while enjoying the view.

Beef salpicao

We were surprised when the beef salpicao came, because the serving was rather small. We were expecting a larger serving because of the price, nonetheless, our son loved each bite of the beef pieces, so we were happy about it anyway.

The cubed tenderloin meat also came with a plate of garlic bread which pair so well with one another.

Country-style fried chicken

If you have a child, you know how important it is that a restaurant has fried chicken. And yes, The Gallery Restaurant and Bar is not just for adults, but for the whole family!

Country-style Fried Chicken, 290 Php (4.93 USD)

The 2 pieces deep-fried chicken is great for starving children because the order comes with a cup of plain rice and some buttered veggies. Of course, a fried chicken can’t be complete without gravy, so, you can enjoy it with gusto!

Pork schnitzel

Pork Schnitzel, 350 Php (5.95 USD)

If the country-style fried chicken didn’t make your child happy, another thing you could order is the pork schnitzel. Thin slices of breaded pork also pair so well with the same gravy as that of the fried chicken’s.

As a plus, the meal comes with warm potato salad and some buttered vegetables too.

The Gallery truffle porcini mushroom pasta (495)

Ahh. This one’s a hit among us.

No wonder its name included the restaurant’s name, maybe because it’s one of their bestsellers, and I assure you that you’ll definitely fall in love with this pasta as long as you like cream sauce and truffle.

You know what’s so cute about The Gallery menu?

In each dish, they include the best drink to pair with. But lemme tell you that their dishes also pair well with plain water.

Indoor and outdoor seating

Before I forget, another thing I like about The Gallery by Witchcraft is that they have 2 choices of seating you can choose from. Either you choose to sit indoors, with that dim light and cozy feel, or you can dine at the al fresco part.

Of course, since we’re in Baguio and wanted to feel the cool breeze and enjoy the last few minutes before going back home, we chose the outdoor seating to enjoy the weather more.

The Gallery by Witchcraft reviews conclusion

Which among The Gallery restaurant photos I took you liked? They may not all do justice to how their food tastes, but I hope when you visit Baguio, you could try it out. I’m sure we’ll be dining there again the next time we go back to Baguio City!

It’s not usual that we visit Baguio resto bars, but The Gallery by Witchcraft sure did their best to ensure the customers leave happy and return even happier. I hope you enjoyed my The Gallery review!

So many great Baguio restaurants to try but so little time? Make sure to check the restaurants below for more Baguio food ideas for future use!

Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna

I never knew I’d love Mediterranean food until after I tried Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna. They have a lot of food choices to cater to any age group, so if you have picky eater kids, I’m sure you’ll also find something good for them!

Cafe by the Ruins

I was happy to finally be able to try the famous Cafe by the Ruins. After its restoration from the fire, the place is decorated very nicely (not sure how it looked before, though). Both the interior and the waiting area (garden area) are very cozy (except that mosquitoes might feast on you in the garden!).

Nonno Guido’s Ristorante

Another place that’s not near the Baguio crowd is Nonno Guido’s Ristorante. Situated in a forest, this restaurant offers a lot of comforting dishes and they are priced fairly as well!
