I appreciate it when God sends troubled people to me. Because it makes my life more meaningful, knowing that there are people who needs my help to get through with their life. I remember having this calling some years back, and hearing stories of people and helping them along the way. And looking back, the big problems that they had were nothing compared to the problems that I hear now. Though it always differs from person to person on how they treat each problem that they own, I am glad that I have heard their cries before, and that is to equipt me now. 🙂
I am not that good in speaking. I know that there are times that I irritate other people or hurt them in the process. And whenever I do, guilt eats me up like crazy. Though I think thoroughly before saying anything, still there are times that I get to reply them unknowingly and instead of helping them, I tend to say hurtful words to them. So in the end, what I would do is to pray for both me and the other party to be able to forgive me for being harsh to them, even if that was unconsciously done, and I would be free from the guilt feeling. Thank God. Else, I would be awake all the time at night.
Currently there are quite a few people who seek my advice every now and then. Few of them are believer of God, but I know that most of them are lacking in their faith. I am not saying that I am always following the will of God, because there are times too that I forget and get lost in this tangible world. So I hope and pray that God would help me stay on track, not only with my life, but moreso, when I am trying to share His words with the people that surrounds me.
Galatians 6:2 – “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the will of God.”
I keep praying to God to help me become a better person to be able to fulfill my duties as His child because only then I can help more people. And whenever I am able to help others, it makes me feel happy. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, even though that there are times that I have only helped someone for his small/little problem.
Matthew 5:42 – “Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.”
I am glad that now many things are found through the internet. That when I need to seek God’s words, it is just a click away, and immediately I may locate what God has written in His bible. Also, I am glad that bible is downloadable as an application in our handy phone, so that wherever and whenever, we can read the words written there. That even if without our bible on hand, we are sure to be able to reach through His teachings easily.
So now I am praying that I will be able to finish reading the scriptures so that I may get to know our God more, and be able to apply them in my life. 🙂
