Sanrio Harmonyland ticket price

We weren’t sure if we’re going to push through with Sanrio Harmonyland. But when we were there, and seeing how cute the vibe is, we realized that we have to get in no matter what. Thankfully, we can buy Sanrio Harmonyland tickets with discounts via Klook.

While waiting in line, we opened the Klook app, and purchased our entrance tickets. And apart from the discounted price of the tickets, you can also save more if you use the promo code HAPPIKLOOK.

Within seconds, you can get your confirmation. And then, you just have to present the QR code to the staff in front, and you can immediately enjoy your time at Sanrio Harmonyland.
Sanrio Harmonyland getting there

One of the things I was considering was how to go to Harmonyland before adding it to our Fukuoka travel plan. And I was almost disappointed because we had to ride the bus to get there by commute.
And since we are not real fans of bus when traveling to Japan – we love Japan’s train system, but suck at finding the right bus stations – I was in doubt whether we’ll be able to get there alive.

And when I finally found that there’s a map from our Beppu Hotel – Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu, it gave me the hope to visit Sanrio Harmonyland!
So, where is Sanrio Harmonyland located?

As one of Oita attractions, Harmonyland is in a town in Hayami District called Hiji. To get there, all you have to do is ride a train to Yokoku station. From there, there’s a bus stop where you can ride the Harmonyland bus.
Don’t worry about how to get there!
Because many girls and women wear cute outfit when going to Harmonyland – so you’re sure you’ve gotten on the right bus! Although I asked a girl several times about the right bus to ride, and she patiently answered all my questions. Haha

Do take note of the last bus to leave Harmonyland so you save yourself from booking a taxi and paying a hefty price!

Sanrio Harmonyland rides
Included in the Sanrio Harmonyland entrance fee are 3 different parts – Harmony Park, Whitebirds Square, and Carnival Square. And while you might think that the park is a bit small, there are actually plenty of things you can do.
Harmony Village

Upon entering Sanrio Harmonyland theme park is the Harmony Village. It’s where you can watch the Sanrio characters come to life. When we entered, the first thing we did was go to the toilet.

And while waiting for one another, suddenly, a cute white puppy came out! It was Cinnamoroll! People gathered around the stage and were busy taking photos, so we did too! After a few minutes, another bunny came out.

This time, it was brown, and I had no clue who she was. Turns out, her name is Mocha (which is what was written on her cap), and she is a close friend of Cinnamoroll. After taking lots of photos, we moved on to the next Sanrio Harmonyland attraction.
Harmony Park
The next thing you’ll see after exiting Harmony Village is the Harmony Park. So what’s inside? Let’s read on!
Kitty Castle

A cute pink colored castle in the middle of Harmony Park, called Kittle Castle, is where you’ll find so many cute Kitty aesthetic spots. And you can spend lots of time inside posing on each Instagrammable spots!

At the end, you can take selfies with Hello Kitty herself! And even purchase a hardcopy with pretty Hello Kitty frame!

Rhythmic Coaster
Before we went to the Kitty Castle, we first checked Rythmic Coaster. Because we were afraid people would start lining up and cost us our time, we decided to try it first. And if you’re like us who love thrilling rides, you should try this out too!

While waiting in line, it started raining. And when we checked, it wasn’t a normal rain. It was SNOW! Weee.. Nothing’s more enjoyable for someone who lives in a country without snow than a real snowfall!
But since we were in Fukuoka, the snowfall didn’t last long, but just enough to excite us!

Just beside the Rhythmic Coaster is called Car Town, where children can enjoy driving their very own car! However, do take note that you have to insert coins to make them work. Nonetheless, our son enjoyed his time there!

Harmony Train

Harmony Train was closed when we first checked it, I heard it was probably due to the cold weather. So we left and went to the other rides. I thought that we wouldn’t be able to ride it, but when we were done with the other rides, we saw people lining up for this ride, and so we followed them.
And turns out, it was a very nice train ride!

Unlike any other train rides, the Harmony Train was very long and took about 10 minutes before we reached the other area of Sanrio Harmonyland, Carnival Square. You’ll surely be relaxed in the ride, and then when you follow through with the boat ride, you’ll surely fall asleep!
Sanionija Trial
I’m not sure if I saw this Sanrio Harmonyland attraction, but even so, I think we won’t go there because you have to pay an additional 500 JPY (199.15 PHP or 3.51 USD) on top of the actual ticket you paid for.
But inside, your child can act like a ninja playing inside the tunnels, mazes, and trampolines. I’m sure athletic kids will enjoy their time inside!
Sanrio Characters Fan Plaza

Sanrio lovers shouldn’t leave Sanrio Harmonyland without entering the Sanrio Characters Fan Plaza. Inside are numerous cute stuffed toys, all are Sanrio characters, of course! And so many Instagrammable spots with super duper cute Kuromi and Cinnamoroll all over!

There are even huge claw machines where you can catch authentic Sanrio characters – which I haven’t seen anywhere else!
Sanrio Harmonyland restaurants
You might get hungry in the middle of playing inside Sanrio Harmonyland, but there’s no need to worry because they have delightful snacks inside! But you know what’s the best part? Food served are mostly Sanrio-themed so you’ll enjoy your food more!
Charaful Marche
There are 4 Sanrio Harmonyland restaurants, but we only saw 2 during our visit. The first one is the Charaful Marche – dunno what that means, but these food stalls were closed during the time of visit.
Upon checking on the website, it says it’s open only on Saturdays and holidays.

My Melody and Kuromi Cafe Terrace

What’s something not to be missed if you’re a Kuromi or My Melody fan is the Cafe Terrace made specially for them. The cutely designed cafe is enough to draw fans in, not to mention the cute lunch boxes included in the set meals — and you can take them home!

And if you want to get them, make sure to be there while it’s still their anniversary! Because you wouldn’t know if you could still get them when the year’s over!

And don’t forget to take photos with the cute My Melody and Kuromi stuffed dolls inside the Cafe Terrace!
