Brisbane City tourist spots — Brisbane might be boring for some, or not even enticing to visit. But there’s actually a lot to check out, especially in Brisbane City. I’ve listed down the things we did on day 1 of our Brisbane itinerary below!

Believe it or not, below are some of the places you can add to your Brisbane itinerary 1 day!
And while these places need a car for you to roam around, I’m sure you’re going to enjoy each of them! I was very blessed to have a friend in Brisbane, so they toured us around free of charge! (Utterly thankful for them! Love them a bunch!)
So, without further ado, here are some fun things to do in Brisbane with family!
The Wheel of Brisbane
One of Brisbane’s most famous Bluey spots is the Wheel of Brisbane.
I love how you can ride a Ferris wheel and be mesmerized by the beauty of Brisbane city! You’ll be going up 60 meters from the ground to see all of Brisbane. Choose whether you want to experience on day, sunset, or even at night – for that moment to remember!
The Wheel of Brisbane tickets price:
Adults start at AUD 23.75 (PHP 1,050.08 or USD 17.02)
Kids start at AUD 19 (PHP 840.06 or USD 13.62)
Queensland Performing Arts Centre
As the name suggests, Queensland Performing Arts Centre is a place where art performances are seen. Every month, they offer different shows for guests to choose from. So if you want that full-bodied art experience, make sure to check the QPAC website before you go so that you could book whatever needs to be booked.
Nepalese Pagoda
After a bit of a walk from the QPAC, we reached Nepalese Pagoda. At first, I thought it was a Buddhist temple of some sort, but then it was different. Apparently, some people host weddings and events in this pagoda, and it’s one of the only 3 pagodas outside of Nepal.
South Bank Pool (Free swimming!)
There are 3 public swimming pools here in South Bank, and the one that we saw was Streets Beach. It’s the only inner-city man-made swimming pool found in Australia! So if you’re looking for places to visit in Brisbane for FREE, better to wear your favorite swimwear, and head to South Bank pool!
O Bagel
It was 2 hours past lunchtime when we were roaming around Eat South Bank, so you know what happens next.
As suggested by locals (aka my friends), O Bagel is something they love dining at. So we immediately went there to know if it’s worth their hype. True enough, it was so yummy! I loved how thick each order of bagel fillings they put in between.
Although each one is a bit pricy, well, what’s one rule when traveling? NEVER. CONVERT. PERIOD.
Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha
I believe that one of the top 10 places to visit in Brisbane is the Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha. As someone who adores looking at plants (certified plantita – except I don’t have plants at home, yet!), I get relaxed whenever I see different kinds of plants.
For some reason, I get amazed at how the plants grow – well, of course they’re watered and get the right amount of nutrients. But apart from that, it’s nice to see green things around.
I can’t help but take lots of photos during our visit here at Botanic Gardens Mt Coot Tha.

Remember that Bluey Lookout in Brisbane? That’s here!
Yep, right here at Mt Coot-tha Lookout.
I was very happy to find some real-life Bluey locations, because, why not? I was just as amazed as I was when we went to Hida Furukawa, where you’ll find some Your Name anime spots!
