Yoki’s Farm Adventure: Why It’s Worth the Visit

Yoki’s Farm, Tagaytay – I’ve heard about Yoki’s Farm in a parenting group many times. But this is the first time we finally decided to visit. And I must say that it’s a nice place to visit especially for families of young kids.

Looking for a farm in Cavite might not be hard, because they have a lot! But I’m going to share our experience at Yoki’s Farm because it’s one of the famous ones. And maybe we can visit the other ones in the future too.

How to go to Yoki’s Farm

Yoki’s Farm location is not that far away from the city.

Located at Mendez, Cavite, Yoki’s Farm can be easily accessible by a jeepney and trike. From Tagaytay, ride a trike until you reach 7/11 convenience store city proper, then ride a trike to Yoki’s Farm.

To go back, tell the driver to fetch you because it’s hard to find a ride back.

Yoki’s Farm address: 003 Tabluan Road, Palocpoc 1, Mendez, Cavite

We chose the Farm Tour package and we had lots of fun inside. Apart from getting to see the different farm animals, the tour guide explained the stuff very well (shoutout to kuya for the great experience! He’s very enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge so I highly recommend him!)

Yoki’s Farm – South’s Hidden Treasure

Not many farms in Tagaytay are like Yoki’s Farm. Because apart from the tour around farm animals and feeding them, you get to experience seeing a wide collection of antiques and be able to pick vegetables for you to take home.

Yoki’s Farm sanctuary

When I hear the word sanctuary it makes me feel good about the place. Because you know that animals are well taken care of in such places, so you can visit the place without any remorse feeling or about worrying about the animal’s health.

At Yoki’s Farm, you know that animals love their residence because you can see how they love the tour guide. Some animals even have their favorite caretakers (who are also tour guides), it just shows how the people around them give them love.

After choosing our tour, the tour guide greeted us happily and we immediately know that we’re gonna gave a great time inside. Kuya was very accommodating of any of our questions and he loves sharing his knowledge about the farm with us.

We fed tortoises, zebras, and birds.

Cutie pie alpaca was also there!

Have you ever touched an ostrich? Here at Yoki’s Farm, you can!

Kuya is so good at handling the animals!

A young macaque also showed her excitement by holding onto our arms! How cute!

And while I was a bit terrified, I also carried a small snake very careful not to startle it.

Hydrophonics Farm

One of the biggest hydroponics farm in Calabarzon, Yoki’s Farm offers edible greens you can buy at a reasonable price. Lettuce, spinach, rosemary, and many different greens are found inside Yoki’s Farm.

You know that these greens are pesticide-free so you’re actually getting more from the produce. Best of all, if you choose the tour package with hydroponics farm, you get to take home 500 grams of the veggies you’re going to pick! Isn’t it nice?

Yoki’s Collection

What I believe is Yoki’s hidden treasure is the antique museum you wouldn’t usually find at any other zoos or sanctuaries. Old Asian artifacts and souvenirs are found inside the farm – which bring out that eerie feeling in anyone.

Thankfully, you won’t be touring the place along even if you decide to visit Yoki’s Farm on your own, because the tour guide will be there to accompany you. What will greet you is a large Buddha statue smiling at you as you start your journey in checking out the antiques.

Apart from precious and pricey artifacts (you have to be careful not to knock them off!), you’ll also see many interesting old things that don’t exist anymore. There are old typewriters, telephones, electric fans, and so much more inside.

A part of Yoki’s collection is enclosed inside a large glass room so you can see the collection without Yoki’s Farm owner worrying about them getting damaged. We also saw a large boat display that’s made of ivory!

Yoki’s Farm Restaurant

Enter at Yoki’s Farm hungry, and you’ll surely leave with a full stomach! Thanks to The Farm Table Restaurant, you can enjoy all-day breakfast where the ingredients are sourced directly from the farm so you’re sure of the freshness!

Yoki’s Farm playground

At the end of our tour, we decided to check out the playground. Inside there are slides and a mini playground where children can extend their play. Make sure to bring socks so you can enter, but regardless, you can buy socks at the front desk.
